The band came together in 2011, playing funk covers from the 80’s and 90’s. Funktuation is mostly an Electro-funk and Alt-Rock band. Benny Dayal and Funktuation are known for their Bollywood set. Their smooth vocal lines and clever lyric meets raw emotions. All the songs they write are about life and the quirky ways of looking at life. They recently released their album called Funkatcheri and a music video called ‘OoraPaaru’ which is a Tamil folk and funk song.
ElsCaterres are the perfect representatives of the Authentic Mediterranean Party. Their albums have established them as one of the most desired group of the Spanish state. They make music with a pinch of reggae, country, corridors and bossanova. Their songs have become hymns that everyone sings.
Started in 2015, Radiotronics is an electronic dance music band founded by the legendary vocalist and double-violinist L. Shenkar, along with the famous DJ Eddie. L. Shenkar is widely considered a living legend and has won a grammy award. He has worked with Martin Scorsese, Peter Gabriel, H.O Nazareth, Madonna, Phil Collins and other famous artists. He has sold over 75 millions albums through his projects around the world. Edison Prithviraj, also known as Eddie, is a founder of the music management company “Exodus.” Eddie has a track record of organizing the best concerts in India such as the Global Isai Festival, Madras Jazz Festival, Fusion Festival, Diva Festival, Blues Festival etc. He also runs a performance theater and music school called “Unwind Center” for passionate musicians. Eddie continues to head Exodus successfully since its inception 20 years ago while also building a strong culture of music and art in the country.
DestynMaloya band, a group of passionate musicians from Rèunion islands.Destyn has been developing music for past twenty years, with its fascinating and playful percussions. Their music carries rhythms with very mixed colours. Each song carries the torch of its ancestors that reconnects with the original roots that links Creole culture.
The Non Violinist Project is a coalescence of musicians from diverse musical backgrounds with Shravan Sridhar on violin, Kumaran on drums, Naveen Samson Benjamin on guitars, Marshall Robinson on keys and synths, Soorajkumarr on bass. The band has a mix of genres that includes Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Gospel, Indian classical Carnatic and Hindustani and many more.
Staccato, an experimental band from India that creates music that soothes the soul. The band includes Carnatic music, blues, Arabian influence and many more in their music. The members of the band are from different musical backgrounds and each one brings with them a unique style to staccato.
Param a Hindustani progressive rock band from Mysore India. The band is known for its traditional rock sound with lead vocals influenced by Hindustani music. The band was formed in August 2015. Param’s unique genre represented the country at India Festival 2018 in Abu Dhabi. Param have also been featured in United Kingdom only radio channel ‘Progzilla’.
Department of music a group of students from Martin Luther Christian University who are famous in north east, India. They perform variety of genre like folk, experimental, Folk Fusion, Metal, Reggae and many more. They have been performing from since 2008 across India.
